PERAN PEMERINTAH DAERAH DALAM MENANGGULANGI ANAK YANG BEKERJA DIBAWAH UMUR SEBAGAI PEMBANTU RUMAH TANGGA

Abstract

A child requires good parenting to grow flowers, enjoy the rights and protection in accordance with the value - the value of religion and humanity as contained in Article 28 B (2) UUD 1945. In this case the local government has a responsibility and a major role to ensure a child has to get their rights. It must be done as an effort to prevent under aged working children. The role of Local Government in organizing child protection has been provided for in Article 21 paragraph 3 of the Law on Child Protection. However, an implementation of child protection has yet to have the same concept and perception in the seat of government that until now child labour under age, especially as a domestic worker, are still common.
