SISTEM INFORMASI DAN PENDATAAN UMAT GEREJA KATOLIK BERBASIS WEBSITE (STUDI KASUS PADA PAROKI SANTO MIKAEL SURABAYA)

Abstract

The growth of information technology in the world is growing rapidly along with the needs of the information in society which is increasing. In the religionfield, especially for the Catholic Church, information technology is needed urgently to enable the church itself as a forum for developing the parish to provide maximum services to the people in the parish. Saint Mikael Church in Surabaya build in 1947 with 899 congregations. This church still using the ways that arguably has not been effective and efficient in collecting data and information to the people of the congregations. Furthermore the church have a problem for giving some data information to the people. Therefore need to be developed some system that can be do some data collention, and give data information based on website, so that the data collection system will give the people more effective and efficient. In addition, the delivery of information to the people can be more informatively. Based on website development system result which has been done, church can be easily conduct data collection and giving people a statistics information such as gender data comparison, blood type data comparison, total people at each region, and role people of church data comparison. Also giving people an information like church schedule activity, and daily bread.
