Abstract
This research was made to see the factors that influence the successful implementation of product management system (SAP). The use of these variables is a modified replication in previous research of Winahyu (2005), which found the immediate influence of Top Management Support, Effective Management Projects, Business Reengineering (BPR), Education and Training Processes, and Vendor Support to successful SAP implementation and influence the successful implementation of SAP against competitive advantage. The population of this research is PT Freeport Indonesia employees amounted to 316 people with the sample of 80 people. SmartPLS, used to analyze the data, The analysis results show, the development of business processes (BPR) is significant to the successful implementation of SAP, and the successful implementation of SAP significantly significant to the company's competitive advantage. A lot of strong prove can not be implemented optimally and many have failed (Widiyanti, 2013). However, this is an attempt to improve the success of ERP implementation, users / users in companies that are or have ever implemented ERP systems should pay attention to factors such as top management strategies, effective management projects, business process reengineering (BPR), education and training, and vendor supports, as these factors are proven. The theoretical implications and suggestions for future research are also prioritized in this study
