Abstract
Six Sigma is a method that has a focus on quality control by studying the company's overall production system (Pande, 2000). PT. Setia Karya Wonosari Jaya suffered losses due to the price the same, chopstick production when manufactured goods are entered at grade B or BS. Therefore causing the selling price of the product is below the price of class a. research purposes is to know the quality of the products and the proposed improvements to the quality of what can be done at the company. Steps in applying the method of Six Sigma is DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Define is the stage determine the critical to quality. Measure is the measurement of the stage using the DPO, DPMO and map control p. Analyze are analyzing the root cause of the problem in this research use the pareto diagram and fish bone. Improve the repair phase is to improve the quality and Control of the implementation stage is the proposed quality improvement are given. The results of calculation of sigma Calculator (isixSigma.com) on the receipt of raw materials with the DPMO 30000 get level yield of 97% and the value of sigma of 3.38. The results of calculation of sigma Calculator in the print process with the DPMO 31000 get level yield amounted to 96.9% and sigma value of 3.37. Yield (the probability is not disabled) of both the station ranked high enough so that's good enough. Quality improvements that need to be done at the reception of the raw material is the party's acceptance of raw materials should make a chart contains characteristics in the process of acceptance of raw materials and the receipt of raw materials should be separate from the one supplier and delivery others. At the print station is to determine a regular schedule in inspecting machine, make the recapitulation of data about the prints of the operator in the operation, necessary evaluation work within a certain period and make a chart to evaluate the performance of the supplier
