dc.description.abstractLeadership and motivation are factors that can affect employee performance in the company. In this study leadership and working motivation at PT. Panca Usaha Palopo Plywood is good, but has not been able to provide the maximum impact on employee’s performance at the company. The problem in this research is whether there is influence of leadership style and working motivation toward employee’s performance at PT. Panca Usaha Palopo Plywood. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of leadership style and working motivation on employee’s performance. The population used is the whole 282 employee’s of department II of production department with a sample of 169 employee’s. The method used in this research is the questionnaire method. The data that have been obtained will be analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing (t test) and simultaneous test (F test). The resulted of multiple linear regression analysis using the equation Y = 38.490 + 0.087 (X1) + 0.068 (X2). The result showed that 0,087 (87%) employee’s performance is influenced by leadership, and 0,068 (68%) employee’s performance is affected by motivation. Based on the result of the hypothesis test (t test) leadership style (X1) have significant effect toward employee’s performance with tcount > ttable (2,072 > 1,654) the significant level 0,040 < 0,05 so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted this result shows that there is particural is significant influence between leadership (X1) and employee’s performance (Y). Motivation of work (X2) shows that there is no significant influence between working motivation (X2) on employee’s performance (Y) with tcount < ttable (1,046 < 1.654) with significance level 0,297 > 0,05 so H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected so that partially there is no significant influence between working motivation (X2) on employee’s performance (Y). Based on the simultaneous test (F test) shows that the variables of leadership style and work motivation together can affect employee’s performance and obtained the value Fcount > Ftable (13,659 > 3,05).en_US
