PENGARUH SELF-EFFICACY DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI TERHADAP TINGKAT STRES MAHASISWA AKSELERASI DI UNIVERSITAS X SURABAYA
Abstract
Stressfull is a condition caused by high tension and pressure that come beyond
someone’s ability. Stress for some colleger caused by many factors. A wrong
stress handilng for collegers can make individues get more frustrated, also caused
alcohol addiction, reckless, drug abuse, and suicide. The main factor that give
stress impact is academical causes. Big demands with wrong motivation in
studying are the biggest challange for colleger. One of many ways to handle
stress is by understanding own self and own ability. Collegers needs to know and
be sure of theirown self that every individuals has potensial inside that can help
them in live college life. This reseach use quantitative method which by collecting
data with quisionare. Total of subjecs in this research are 109 active colleger who
studying in acceleration semester at X University of Surabaya, with purposive
technique sampling. All data collected by use control scale from each subject
amount 0,835; 0,868; 0,915. The result of research show that self efficacy impacts
the stress level amount 26%, achieve motivation impacts to stress level amount
36,8%. Self efficacy and achieve motivation impacts stress level amount 39,3%
with signifficantly number amount 0,000 (p<0,05). Both of Self-efficacy and
achieve motivation affecting stress, one of these two variables in this research
that affect bigger to stress level is achieve motivation. Researchers wishing this
research can give any good impacts for collegers to decrease stress level of acceleration
colleger, that the colleger can go through by increase self efficacy and motivation of
achieving, also managing stress goodly.
