PROSES PENCARIAN IDENTITAS SEORANG ANAK PENDETA

Abstract

A large demands from the environment can make a teenager experienced an identity confusion, including pastor’s kid. The goal of this research is to know about the process of finding an identity of a pastor’s kid. The identity confusion experienced by the participant is seen from the difficulties in determining the future. The participant of this research is a 18 years old young woman who was the daughter of a pastor in Surabaya. The paradigm used in this research is interpretive paradigm. The methods used in this research is interview method.the the type of interview used in this research is semi-structured interview. The analysis technique used in this research is thematic data analysis technique. The result of this research is that the participant has been through many processes to find his identity, including being prosecuted and social comparison. Based on this research can be concluded that there are several factors that encourage Rini to find her identity, namely the lack of interaction between parents with Rini, GERD disease suffered by Rini, and Ellen as an idol for Rini. In the end, Rini managed to achieve her identity.
