dc.description.abstractIncreasing population growth created a population growth condition that is very influential on the socio-economic conditions of the community, especially regarding the issue of the fulfillment of the necessities of life and employment that can lead to vulnerability in the field of security and peace of community life, such as the occurrence of crime or crime. Some acts or actions that violate the law and disrupt the peace and harmony of life together, one of which is a crime of theft accompanied by violence, where almost every day we can see in electronic media and in the mass media. This type of crime of theft with a weight (pickpocket) is one of the most frequent crimes in the community, which almost happened in every region in Indonesia. It becomes very logical if the type of crime of theft with the Division occupies the top affair among other types of crime. The criminal offenses against criminal theft are regulated in the Criminal Code, such as theft committed by two or more persons by allies as regulated in Article 363 (1) point 4 of KUHP, such as the case of theft by Joni Santoso and Kaseh, where Surabaya District Court Judge declared the defendant Joni proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing the crime of "Theft in the circumstances of burden" and sentenced to imprisonment for three yearsen_US
