Hentai vs. Harlequin: A Philosophical Critic towards Pornography

Abstract

Abstract This short paper will analyze the values behind two distinctive erotic texts, Hentai and Harlequin-styled romance, seen from literary criticism point of view. As the introduction, a glance on how porn laws define pornography will be presented. Then the discussion will be displayed in two different subtitles, each is dedicated to each genre. Lastly, a conclusion is given to provoke further thinking.
