dc.description.abstractThis study aims to find out the representation of resilience in individuals with disabilities post-accident blindness so that they are able to overcome various kinds of obstacles and ultimately can rise from the situation that made the individual fall. The approach used in this study is qualitative with the type of case study and uses indepth interview method. The paradigm in this study is the interpretive paradigm. The results of the study show that resilience individuals can be achieved with aspects of resilience which include emotion regulation, impulse control, causal analysis, selfefficacy, realistic optimism, empathy, and reaching out. The results of this study indicate that the most dominant aspects encountered in both individuals are emotion regulation to help individuals manage their emotions, realistic optimism to help individuals feel optimistic in their lives and reaching out to help individuals to dare to take challenges and improve positive aspects in their life. The results of this study can then be used to help people with other visual impairments to be able to rise from a situation that made him worse and become a resilient personen_US
