The family is an individual forum to learn many things about the values and norms
of life. In the family there is a great need for warmth and affection for each other.
The number of cases of increasing physical abused is caused by the loss of harmony
in the family. The ability of resilience is urgently needed in order to regain a sense
of individual trust that has been damaged by the perpetrators of physical abuse.

physical abuse while still a child. The paradigm used in this study is the interpretive
paradigm. The method used in this study is the interview method. The type of
interview used is semi-structured interviews. The analysis technique used in this
study is to do data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion drawing. The results
of this study indicate that Candra as an individual who was a victim of abuse
suffered physically and psychologically and experienced feelings of stress such as
stress and despair. But slowly Candra began to be able to accept the situation
patiently and was able to think positively about the problems she was facing. This
makes Candra able to rise from painful times. In the end, the acquired resilience
helps Candra to be more meaningful to life, more grateful and have the spirit to
fight for success
