Abstract
The rapid development of manufacturing industry requires companies to continue to survive and develop (Heizer & Render, 2009). Human resources is one of the key factors in global competition (Bling Community, 2008). Organizational Commitment is important in the company because When employees have a high Organizational Commitment to the company then employees believe and accept the goals of the company and will not leave the company (Mathis and Jackson in Sopiah (2008)). According to Ismail and Razak (2016), Organizational Commitment is formed by Job Satisfaction. According to Sarwar, and Abugre (2013), Reward forms Job Satisfaction employees but unfortunately the existence of unions can affect employee satisfaction in the company. According to Asamani and Mensah (2013), the existence of trade unions has a negative and significant impact on Job Satisfaction. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data collection will be done by distributing questionnaires to respondents in accordance with the characteristics of the sample owned by this study. The population used in this study is all employees of the wholesale level at CV El Shaday Maranatha company registered in Trade Union. The research used total sampling technique or saturated sampling that is sampling by placing the whole member of population as sample. Number of samples were 50 respondents. Data analysis techniques used to discuss the problems in this study is a simple linear regression using the software IBM® SPSS® 22.0. The results of this study indicate that Unions have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Reward has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction, and Job Satisfaction has significant effect on Organizational Commitment
