Karakteristik Wirausahawan dan Keinginan Menjadi Wirausahawan Muda
Abstract
Abstract –The purpose of this research is: (i) identify the characteristics of entrepreneur and its effect on the desire to be entrepreneur; and (ii) mapped potential students and alumni Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta became a reliable young entrepreneur. Methods of analysis used to answer the research purposes first is multiple regression analysis, this method was chosen because this research analyzed the relationship between the dependent variable (the desire to be wirausawan) with several independent variables (high energy levels, leadership, has an obsession with opportunity, creativity and the ability to adapt, the point of internal controls, the need for achievement, confidence, realization on the urgency of time and tolerance to ambiguity). Methods of analysis used to answer the second research purposes is a test of Intelligence (IQ) entrepreneurial Quotion initiated by Daft (2010). The results of this research show that: (i) the stronger one student has a personality of high energy level, then the greater the attraction of students to choose to become a young entrepreneur; (ii) the more perfect (complete) traits of a leader who gathered within a students, then the stronger students desirous of being a young entrepreneur; (iii) the higher the student of obsessions business opportunities that could be run successfully, then the stronger students desirous of being a young entrepreneur; (iv) the more the idea of creative can de done y a student, then the stronger students desirous of being a young entrepreneur; (v) the greater the confidence towards a student’s ability to
control its own future, then the stronger students desirous of being a young entrepreneur; (vi) the greater the motivation of a student to the achievement of business excellence business that is run, then the stronger students desirous of being a young entrepreneur; (vii) the higher the confidence level of the student success business person that is being pioneered and or developed, then the stronger students desirous of being a young entrepreneur; (viii) the greater the level of awareness of students of the urgensitas utilization of time, then the stronger students desirous of being a young entrepreneur; (ix) the stronger the tolerance of a student to the uncertainty or the stronger the courage of a student taking decisions in conditions of uncertainty, then the stronger the courage of a student taking decisions in conditions of uncertainty, then the stronger students desirous of being a young entrepreneur and (x) most (75 percent) of students at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta has the potential of small business success in running the (entrepreneurial).
