ANALISIS UPAYA HUKUM PEMBULATAN PEMBAYARAN PEMBELIAN BBM DI SPBU KECAMATAN PANGKALAN BANTENG MENURUT UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 8 TAHUN 1999 TENTANG PERLINDUNGAN KONSUMEN

Abstract

Indonesia already has a Consumer Protection Act, which is regulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 Concerning Consumer Protection. The purpose of the issuance of the Consumer Law is contained in the consideration point (a) that national development aims to create a just and prosperous society that is equally materially and spiritually in the era of economic democracy based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution; and (e) that legal provisions protecting consumer interests in Indonesia are inadequate. This thesis is written based on a legal research method of tracing the events that often occur when purchasing fuel at a gas station in Pangkalan Banteng District with actions from business actors who are not responsible for returning the refunds that should be received by consumers so that consumers are disadvantaged. Therefore, the author is interested in preparing a thesis under the title "Analysis of Payment Case for Purchases of Fuels in Petrol Station in Pangkalan Banteng Subdistrict Rounded Up in Law Number 8 of 1999 Concerning Consumer Protection". The purpose of this thesis writer is to find out and gain insight into consumer protection in the event that consumer rights are not given and how legal remedies can be taken by consumers either through public trials or outside the court and how the responsibility of business actors in this case.
