dc.description.abstractExploitation is the utilization, for one's own benefit through extortion from other people's labor. Exploitation is not only carried out on adults but also often on children. Exploitation of children as stated in Article 13 UU no. 23 of 2002 which was perfected by UU No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to UU No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection explains that every child during the care of a parent or guardian is entitled to protection from exploitation, both economic and sexual as described in Paragraph 1 letter B. There have been cases in Palu City, Central Sulawesi, since 2014 there have been around 6 children arranged 9 years to 14 years received economic exploitation by being employed at a red light crossroad. This final project aims to determine the legal remedies that can be taken against the actions of economic exploitation committed against children who work as beggars in the City of Palu. This final project aims to find out the rights of children that must be fulfilled by the government based on the Child Protection Act and understand criminal sanctions that can be applied to violations of children's rightsen_US
