dc.description.abstractThis research examined the Legal Liability Due to Expired Products According to Act Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. This research used a Normative Juridical research where the processing of legal materials was carried out in a literature study. This research aimed at the importance of the legal liability of business actors who sold expired food products which results losses in consumers due to consuming the products. The disadvantaged consumer has the right to get legal protection because the business actors did not revoke the expired food product. Business actors we’re responsible for their actions that have violated the law. To obtain legal liability from business actors, consumers could make consumer dispute settlement that could be reached through the court or outside the court efforts due to losses the consumer haden_US
