PENGARUH KOMPENSASI, PEMBERDAYAAN, DAN KEPUASAN KERJA TERHADAP LOYALITAS KARYAWAN PT.MAKMURJAYA USAHA di SURABAYA
Abstract
The current paradigm of the global manufacturing industry views the production process as a whole between the pre-production, production and post-production processes. Therefore, people can no longer see production only in factories. Indonesia has become the largest manufacturing industry base in ASEAN with contributions reaching 20.27% in the national scale economy. The pulp and paper industry is one of the leading sectors that continues to be spurred by its development because it has a large availability of raw materials and domestic markets and is supported by the application of advanced technology.
One of the pulp and paper industries in Indonesia is PT Tjiwi Kimia. Tjiwi Kimia Tbk Paper Factory (TKIM) was established in Indonesia on October 2, 1972 and began commercial operations in 1977. One of the companies affiliated with PT Tjiwi Kimia acting as a distributor of PT Tiwi Kimia's products was PT Makmur Jaya Usaha. PT. Makmur Jaya Usaha was established in 1970. PT Makmur Jaya Usaha always strives to maintain the loyalty of its employees. This is supported by the results of interviews with the Human Resources (HR) which states that the employees of PT Makmur Jaya Usaha work on average for a long period of time, namely over 5 years.
This study aims to find out how the influence of Compensation and Empowerment on Job Satisfaction, and how the influence of Compensation, Empowerment, and Job Satisfaction on Employee Loyalty of PT Makmur Jaya Usaha in Surabaya.
The research method used is quantitative by processing data using SPSS. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 54 employees of PT Makmur Jaya Usaha with characteristics of men or women, having worked for approximately 2 years, in the back office.
The results of this study indicate that Compensation and Empowerment have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Compensation and Empowerment have no significant effect on Employee Loyalty. While Job Satisfaction has a significant effect on Employee Loyalty
