dc.description.abstractAs one of the important pillars in the financial system and economy of a country, banks are required to maintain their health in order to carry out their functions optimally. According to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No.7 of 1992 concerning Banking, Article 29 states that banks are required to maintain bank health and are required to conduct business in accordance with the prudential principle. The soundness level of a bank can be calculated using the CAMEL method. As a fairly young bank, PT. Bank Nationalnobu, Tbk. Have a far-reaching vision and are ready to compete in the national banking industry by applying global standards. In order to achieve its vision, PT. Bank Nationalnobu, Tbk. Always have to maintain the level of health. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the health level of PT. Bank Nationalnobu, Tbk. by using CAMEL analysis. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis where the results of bank health analysis are then presented descriptively. The sample in this study is the financial performance of PT. Bank Nationalnobu, Tbk. for the period December 2019. Based on a bank soundness analysis using the CAMEL method, PT. Bank Nationalnobu, Tbk. declared healthy with a final score of 96.556 Even though it was declared “healthy”, PT. Bank Nationalnobu, Tbk. still has weaknesses in the profitability factor that must be improved. It is recommended that PT. Bank Nationalnobu, Tbk. can take advantage of the use of information technology for cost efficiency and increase the potential for fee based incomeen_US
