Pengaruh harga diri dan religiusitas terhadap kebahagiaan remaja panti asuhan kristen di Balikpapan

Abstract

Remaja panti asuhan mengalami banyak masalah mental yang disebakan oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal seperti genetik dan faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan panti, jumlah pengasuh yang kurang, keluarga, teman, dan lingkungan masyarakat. Masalah mental yang tidak dapat diatasi oleh seorang remaja panti asuhan dapat mempengaruhi tidak bahagia dalam menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari dan harapan akan masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga diri dan religiusitas terhadap kebahagiaan remaja panti asuhan kristen di Balikpapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 40 remaja panti asuhan kristen di Balikpapan dengan rentan usia 13-18 tahun. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana untuk hipotesis satu dan dua sedangkan analisis regresi berganda untuk menguji hipotesis ketiga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hipotesis pertama diterima dengan hasil pengaruh harga diri terhadap kebahagiaan sebesar 42,7% (p= 0.000<0,05). Hasil uji hipotesis kedua dapat diterima dengan hasil pengaruh religiusitas terhadap kebahagiaan sebesar 18,8 % (p= 0,005<0,05). Hasil uji hipotesis ketiga diterima dengan hasil harga diri dan religiusitas memiliki pengaruh simultan terhadap kebahagiaan sebesar sebesar 42,7% (p = 0,000<0,05). Kebahagiaan pada remaja panti asuhan kristen Balikpapan lebih dipengaruhi oleh harga diri sedangkan religiusitas hanya memberikan kontribusi kecil. Remaja diharapkan dapat mempertahankan harga diri dan religiusitas yang sudah baik untuk mempertahankan kebahagiaan / Orphanage teenagers experience many mental problems caused by internal factors and external factors. Mental problems that an orphanage youth cannot overcome can affect unhappy living their daily lives and hope for the future. This research aims to find out the effect of self-esteem and religiosity on the happiness of christian orphanage teenagers in Balikpapan. This study used sampling methods with purposive sampling techniques through the dissemination of questionnaires to 40 christian orphanage teenagers in Balikpapan with vulnerable ages 13-18 years. The research data was analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques for hypotheses one and two while multiple regression analyses to test the third hypothesis. The results of this study showed that the first hypothesis was accepted with the result of the effect of self-esteem on happiness of 42.7% (p= 0.000<0.05). The results of the second hypothesis test can be accepted with the result of the effect of religiosity on happiness of 18.8 % (p= 0.005<0.05). The results of the third hypothesis test were received with the results of self-esteem and religiosity having a simultaneous influence on happiness of 42.7% (p = 0.000<0.05). Happiness in balikpapan Christian orphanages is more influenced by self-esteem while religiosity contributes only a small contribution. Teenagers are expected to maintain good self-esteem and religiosity to maintain happiness.
