Abstract
Planning the amount of production is an important part in the production sector that needs to be optimized. The process is to coordinate the large number of requests with the existing production capacity of the company, in order to obtain a solution that is optimal or near-optimal (Susanto, 2006). Given the variety of possible bad that could happen during the production process, it is necessary for PT Lumbung Pangan for optimizing production with various methods required. Problems that occur in PT Lumbung Pangan is the lack of planning of production quantities for months in the future, causing the company difficulties in meeting consumer demand. The purpose of this study is to try to provide an optimal solution to PT Lumbung Pangan on how to optimize the amount of production as well as the amount of benefits to be obtained by the company. In this study will be used on a method of Winter as a tool to predict future demand would later become the reference in Linear Programming and Fuzzy Linear Programming. In practice it turns Linear Programming methods in certain months is still not give the plan the amount of production and the optimum gain. It required the Fuzzy Linear Programming in order to provide a more optimal solution and enhance Linear Programming methods that have been run.
