Abstract
A product with a particular function will never be able to satisfy the human need for a function forever. This is because by the time human experience changes in lifestyle. Therefore, product development is always done so that the human need for tools that facilitate the activities are met. The emergence of bottled water is one of the development of products that occur due to changes of human life style. Development of bottled water products are currently only concert to the beauty of the packaging but not in its functions which facilitate the user in moving and pouring bottled water. With a mass of approximately 20kg, the development of tools that will fulfill the function of moving and poured gallons still exist. Therefore, it is through this research will be made a design tool to meet the housing needs of gallons of bottled water consumers thiat make it easier to move and pour. The method used in this research was QFD and TRIZ. QFD method is used to capture needs of consumers or voice of customers and TRIZ method is used to complete contradiction problems in QFD. The results of this research, there were 12 attributes and 12 technical response according to needs of consumers. This research also make a multifuction product desain and prototype which is can support customer on movin, and poured.
