Abstract

Life History is one kind of ways to describe someone’s personal life from childhood to adulthood. There was an exceptional fact when in daily life, there is still a working mother who successfully bring her child to be a successful student. This research is to demonstrate and to find a new perspective of a working mother who has to raise her under five years old child. This research describes a mother’s life named Desi who has a very tough life experience from the past and the way she nurture her daughter. Her effort to live a life as a working mother as well as raising her daughter has successfully done since her daughter shows a terrific academic development result and grows as a cheerful and well-socialized girl among her peers. The parenting methods which brought to Desi have made her successfully maintain the goods and apply it very well as she nurtures her daughter. Her daughter grows as a competitive and confident individual who used to win many kinds of competitions and known as a friendly girl who easily greets everyone who passes her. This research describes and explains the life story of Desi. The persistence and hard effort of Desi are expected to inspire working mothers in nurturing their children, not only thinking about career, but also to develop the child’s creativities and other abilities in education area.
