TANGGUNG JAWAB PABRIK RUMAHAN PENGELOLA OTAK-OTAK DI SUKABUMI TERKAIT DENGAN PENGGUNAAN BAHAN BERACUN DALAM PRODUK PANGAN
Abstract
One of the welfare measurements In Indonesia relies on fulfillment of food
supply to citizen and food quality standard. This is indirectly related to the rights
of consumer. Consumer rights that acclaimed by producer will make producer
more careful to the goods or services they are going to make. However, not all
consumers know about his or her rights. Therefore, producers tend to use this
situation as a land to get more benefits. When consumer got loss at the goods and
services producer made, consumer indirectly forced to accept the loss. Because of
this issue, this research defines producer liabilities to consumer who had loss after
using producer’s product.
This research focused on food producer liabilities to the harmed ingredients
in food. The Ingredients itself, were connected on the food product against quality
standards and food quality. This research used a normative type, where the legal
materials processing performed by literature.
The result that has successfully collected through this research is producer of
otak-otak in Sukabumi, named Rika, proved to produce otak-otak with harmed
ingredients. After police found basic ingredients, which are rotten fishes,
dangerous ingredients adding, like borax and formalin. Also otak-otak that were
ready to sell in markets around Sukabumi. The uses of this dangerous ingredients,
was conclude as an action, which disobey the rules.
