| dc.description.abstract | A country needs to achieve a good quality of human resources by finding an appropriate and selective ways. They can be stared from early childhood, especially in the golden age period, which the child grow up rapidly. One of the appropriate ways to increase the growth and development of children is choosing the appropriate and useful games to be played.
An important aspect that was growing rapidly in the golden age period is motor skill aspect, especially for fine motor skill which is need a stimulus to be developed. Playing is one of a effective medium for children to learn, but often the selection of children's toys are ignored. Based on the importance of fine motor skills, it is necessary to know what are the toy’s attributes and technical response. They are used as an aspect to make a new product for the development of fine motor skills according to needs of consumers.
The method used in this research was QFD and TRIZ. QFD method is used to capture needs of consumers or voice of customers and TRIZ method is used to complete contradiction problems in QFD. The results of this research, there were 13 attributes and 16 technical response according to needs of consumers. This research also make a new product development of toy which is can support the fine motor skills according to customer needs with a toy’s design of a train that give several feature like meronce, puzzles, and arrange blocks. | en_US |
