PERBAIKAN TATA LETAK FASILITAS PRODUKSI DENGAN ANALISIS CLUSTERING PADA DATA MINING
Abstract
In a production setting with good facilities also determine the competitiveness of the company in terms of capacity, flexibility, processes, and costs. Problems often arise when setting the layout of production facilities is not crafted the magnitude of the moment produced in the material handling process. In this study, plant layout and facility clustering is done by grouping facilities on Data Mining.
This study aims to provide suggestions for improvement to the facility layout Surabaya PTC is capable of minimizing the material handling distances. Based on the results of clustering and data mining facility, acquired three new alternative layouts for PTC Surabaya. Of the three alternative layouts 3 layouts were chosen to be proposed to the company, because it has a moment of transfer of material handling smaller than the moment of transfer of material layout alternatives 1 and 2 alternative layouts and material handling initial layout. With the layout of the proposal, along with a reduction in the distance material handling material handling cost per meter that can be done is by 27%
