dc.description.abstractRisk is a part of the company. Emerging risks in a company should be able to be identified and properly managed in order to minimize the costs by the company, in addition to the management of risk in the production process also can improve the quality of products produced by the company. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a method used in this study to identify the risk of failures, as well as calculate the cost expectations due to failure by using cost based FMEA. The data collection was done by using literature, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results were analyzed based on the assessment of data processing severity, occurrence, detection, cost expectations, and recommendations for reducing the risks of failure. The results showed that there 18 risks inherent in the production process of the company, of which five (5) were classified as critical and can interfere with the quality of the product. Of five (5) risks can be known expectation failures cost the company over the last three months is Rp. 12.845.900,00. Therefore, this study makes several recommendations that can be done to reduce the risk of the company is critical.en_US
