dc.description.abstractThe packaging of a food product becomes an attraction to influence consumers to buy the product. Pizza is one of most popular junk foods in Indonesia. However, the recent pizza packaging design that uses rope to bind its box can influence the comfortableness of consumers to carry pizza. The pizza packaging design should consider consumer emotional aspects particularly consumer’s convenience. One of the packaging designs uses Kansei Engineering method in which uses human feeling to feel the product in the stage of new product development. Therefore, new pizza packaging design which is based on consumer's emotional needs would be a great of interest for those who work on product design development. This study tends to create pizza packaging design using Kansei Engineering method. The study founds several pizza packaging designs including color, shape, material, ease to carry, logo, the number and the position of air circulation.en_US
