Abstract
Organizational culture is the patterned way of thinking, feeling, and reacting that
exists in an organization or its subsectors. Strong organizational culture will help
the company to provide certainty to all employees to grow together in a company.
Every company has different organizational culture and it affects on all aspects of
the company. An organization can develop and succeed because of the character
of the founder. Therefore, the importance of organizational culture based on the
character of the founder may reflect how a company develops. The aim of this
study is to understand in-depth overview of the organizational culture particularly
in PT. Artha Wahana Agrotama based on the character of the founder. This study
is a qualitative research. Data is obtained by participant observation and in-depth
interview technique. The results show that the character of the founder affects the
establishment of organizational culture.
