Abstract
Work motivation is one of the things that become a determinants to the individual's success in their job. This research was conducted at Mojowarno Christian Hospital which intents to find out the description of the subject and each variable, the influence of job satisfaction towards work motivation, and the influence work involvement towards work motivation, and job satisfaction and involvement working together against the employee’s work motivation. Number of samples processed are 85 subject using proportional stratified random sampling method. Dependent variables in this study is the job satisfaction and work involvement, whereas variables are bound is work motivation. The data analysis performed includes descriptive analysis and statistical analysis that includes a test of validity, reliability test, assumptions test, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing research. In a partial, job satisfaction has a significant influence on the motivation of working with value t = 6,613 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), as well as the work involvement has significant effects on the employee’s work motivation with value t = 6,047 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Multiple regression model results R2 = 0,389. 38.9% which means that variables of work motivation can be explained by the job satisfaction variable and work involvement, whereas 61,1% explained by other variables that are not the focus of this research. The results show that job satisfaction and work involvement together have an impact on the employee’s work motivation, though not too good. This is because of the existence of other variables that influence the motivation of working such as commitment organizational, organizational culture, leadership style, work design, and other variables. Researchers furthermore expected to dig and extract deeper into other variables that influence employee’s work motivation.
