dc.description.abstractBody dissatisfaction is one of the issues that need to be addressed as body dissatisfaction associated with low self-esteem, eating disorders, suicide risk and depression. This research investigate about the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) combined with interactive bibliotherapy to decrease the body image dissatisfaction. Participants were female undergraduate students, 18-20 years old, normal BMI (Body Mass Index), and moderate body image dissatisfaction's level. The data was collected with modified questionnaire from Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ). The data was analyzed with t-test independent samples using SPSS for Windows versions 13.0. The result suggested that the therapy could not decrease the body image dissatisfaction effectively (t = -2.345; p> 0.05). The discussion revealed about why the treatment could not effective in order to decrease body image dissatisfaction. Further researches need to enhance the duration of the treatments and add some sessions for addressing family and friend's issue, and enhancing interpersonal skills to make the therapy more effective.en_US
