dc.description.abstractInvestment activity is an important activity for manufacturing companies because it is the assets which generate sales andmake profits for the company. Investments decision that has been made and the efficient management of assets can increase the maximum sales. The increase in sales experienced by the company not only improve the company's overall financial performance, but also can give a positive signal to investors about the company's development in the future. This study aims to examine and analyse the influence of decisions on investment towards financial performance with managerial ownership as a moderating variable. The sample used in this study were 33 companies listed on the Stock Exchange from 2008-2012. The selection of the sample using the purposive sampling method with multiple regressionanalyzes. The results of this study proved that the investment decisions has significant positive effect on financial performance,while managerial ownership has no significant effect in moderating investment decisions on financial performance.en_US
