dc.description.abstractBanks are the industry that deal with the collection of funds from the society and distribute them for the purpose to earn income. Banks should be able to keep the confidence of the people who put their fund with the banks. Therefore, banks should follow all the regulations that been set up by the Central Bank. The purpose of this study is to know the impact of Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, Operation Cost to Operation Income, Return on Asset, Return on Equity and Loan to Deposit Ratio to the bank’s performance. The other purpose is to know which variable has the strongest influence. The objects of this research are public banks that operate in Indonesia during 2008 – 2010. The method used is multiple regression analysis. From the analysis, it’s found that simultaneously CAR, NPL, BOPO, ROA, ROE and LDR have a significant influence to the bank’s performance. It showed by the F-statistics value 9.662 (P-value < 0.05), while partially, it’s found that NPL, LDR and ROA affect the bank’s health condition (P-value <0.05).en_US
