Penegakan Hukum Perlindungan Varietas Tanamana Bagi Kesejahteraan Rakyat di Indonesia

Abstract

Protection of plant variety lies in the border line of law and agriculture. It is important because it relates to the welfare of the people of Indonesia. Less people make research in this field and many people do not know how the Law of the Protection of Plant Variety works and enforced. The result is the appearance of some cases in the field of plant variety protection. No many people, especially the farmers, know about the Government’s Decree about seed in the Keppres No. 27/ 1971. The regulation of seed is very important in the effort of plant variety protection.
