Volunteer Satisfaction among Business School Student: An Empirical Analysis

Abstract

Volunteering for college student has become one of the important activities around university campus. With the growing number of campus activities, research on student volunteering also growing. The purpose of this paper is to test the significance of Development and Learning, Altruism, Belonging and Protection, and Career Recognition towards Volunteer Satisfaction. The significance of the variables was tested using a sample of 93 Business School student of UPH Surabaya. Regression results revealed that Altruism, and Belonging and Protection were significantly affecting Volunteer Satisfaction, while Development and Learning, and Career Recognition have no significant effect on Volunteer Satisfaction. This paper also give suggestion for study program on how to draw and retain student volunteer for several activities around university campus.
