Abstract
This study focus on the legal protection for consumers on public transport services, as we know in Indonesia many accidents are caused by non-fulfillment of the minimum standard of transportation in accordance with law and regulations. Refer to the case study on accident by otobus company Sumber Kencono, this research will discuss about the rights of consumers are not run the minimum standard of transportation .
This study using Legal-Normative method where the legal materials mostly by processing in literature.
From the results, it can be concluded that there are some rights are not fulfilled by the otobus company Sumber Kencono from the aspect of safety and security. Thus, as for proportion that government can be socializiation to the public about minister regulation and training to personnel driver
