PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSAKSIONAL, GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN FIRST LINE MANAJEMEN (STUDI KASUS PADA KARYAWAN PT X DI SURABAYA)
Abstract
Human resource, is one of the most important assets of the company
because of its role as the subject of implementing the policy within the company.
Employee job satisfaction variable is a matter of great interest and importance, it
is proved by the benefits received by the employee and the company. There are some
factors in achieving job satisfaction, in this study, the researchers chose the
transactional leadership style, transformational leadership style and
organizational climate. The purpose of this research was to determine the influence
of transactional leadership style, transformational leadership style and
organizational climate on job satisfaction either partially or simultaneously.
Subjects in this study were 60 employees of PT X are each as much as 15
respondents from the position of Sales, Staff, SPG and Technicians. Researchers
designed a 64 items questionnaire enclosed statement independently with the
guidance of the lecturers. The process of data collection of this research, used a
trial test as well. Multiple regression results obtained from this study shows that
there is a positive and significant influence. The result of t-test of this research
showed significant effects between transactional leadership style towards job
satisfaction (t = 8.193, p = 0.000, p <0.05), transformational leadership style on
job satisfaction (t = 10.861, p = 0.000, p <0.05), organizational climate on job
satisfaction (t = 10.846, p = 0.000, p <0.05). Results of regression test
transactional leadership style, transformational leadership style and
organizational climate on job satisfaction showed a significant (F = 45.920, p =
0.000, p < 0.05). Based on the results of this research, the company is expected to
sustain the Organization climate and transformational leadership style so that
employee satisfaction is awake and can improve productivity, commitment and
loyalty of employees.
