Abstract
Many church elders who like to worship and serve in other church make researcher need to do the research about organizational commitment by GPPS Bait-San Kalijaten’s church elders. The transition from previous Pastor to a new Pastor and the number of complaints from church elders also makes researcher interested to do the study about the effect of servant leadership style and perceived organizational support to organizational commitment GPPS Bait-San Kalijaten’s church elders. The purposes of this study are to determine the effect of servant leadership and perceived organizational support to organizational commitment. The research uses quantitative methods. Samples were taken which are 46 respondents from GPPS Bait-San Kalijaten Church elders with total population sampling technique. The result of the study have shown that servant leadership style and perceived organizational support have a significant effect on the church elders’s organizational commitment with servant leadership (p < 0,05), perceived organizational support (p < 0,05), and R2 = 0,416. Church elders often worship and serve in other church because they have normative commitment. The Pastor need to get closer to the church elders so their organizational commitment would be afective commitment.
