dc.description.abstract | Many church elders who like to worship and serve in other church make
researcher need to do the research about organizational commitment by GPPS
Bait-San Kalijaten’s church elders. The transition from previous Pastor to a new
Pastor and the number of complaints from church elders also makes researcher
interested to do the study about the effect of servant leadership style and
perceived organizational support to organizational commitment GPPS Bait-San
Kalijaten’s church elders. The purposes of this study are to determine the effect of
servant leadership and perceived organizational support to organizational
commitment. The research uses quantitative methods. Samples were taken which
are 46 respondents from GPPS Bait-San Kalijaten Church elders with total
population sampling technique. The result of the study have shown that servant
leadership style and perceived organizational support have a significant effect on
the church elders’s organizational commitment with servant leadership (p <
0,05), perceived organizational support (p < 0,05), and R2 = 0,416. Church elders
often worship and serve in other church because they have normative
commitment. The Pastor need to get closer to the church elders so their
organizational commitment would be afective commitment. | en_US |
