Abstract
UD. Turbosound is one of home industries had grown in Indonesia. UD. Turbosound is a electronics company which main product is amplifier. Problem’s being faced by the company is the least amount of output produced. After being investigated, the problem came from the method of work performed by the operator on the assembly plat mixer. In a mixer plat assembly, there were many movements and work activities that were uneffectively performed by the operator. This made the process of assembling the plat mixer took a long time. In this study, a proposal would be made to work more productively, thereby reducing assembly time in the execution of the mixer plat. The method used to solve this problem is by using MOST. MOST divided activities into sub activities to perform the motion analysis. The purposes of this study were to determine how the condition of the current working methods and propose working method The result of this research were 146 unproductive movement. The proposed method gave less unproductive movement which left 93 movement. From the MOST method obtained that the standard time of plat mixer assembly process from the proposed method is 15, 254 minutes.
