Abstract
MRP is a planning and inventory control system that relies on the amount of all the materials required to support the produce end product. S.Mr home industry is a home-based business that produces bakpia. S.Mr home industry does not have yet any raw material planning and control. Therefore, this study will investigate the role of MRP method in scheduling the purchase of raw materials supported by LFL method and EOQ method that help us to see raw annual total order of materials and annual purchasing cost. The calculation showed that by using the company’s policy, the total cost incurred in a year was Rp. 19,740,916.00. While using the MRP-LFL method, the total cost was Rp. 13,187,408.00.
